Shodo Font Catalog

Fonts are provided in tarballs (i.e., .tar.gz files) containing the JSON definition for all included renderings in a .js file, and the individual images as .gif files, with names indicating the font family/size/slant/weight/color. Each tarball includes black, red, green, blue, and gray colors, and fonts sizes of 12px, 16px, 20px, 24px, and 30px.

After downloading, be sure to unpack the tarball, and place the images and JSON in locations where your webpage/webserver can find them. Make sure that the images are located in a "./fontcat" directory, or else you must edit the JSON files to change the "ImageURL" property value.

    While the actual font files for the fonts listed above are NOT included in their respective distribution packages (only an image of a character set rendered in the font, and an associated JSON metadata file are included), in the interest of full disclosure, the licenses for the fonts (in so far as they are known) are listed here:
